XCMG XE75GA 7.5-tonne crawler excavator

The XCMG XE75GA is a compact crawler excavator for buyers who need a 7.5-tonne-class machine with a 0.33 m³ bucket, a 4,020 mm digging depth and a 1,840 mm tail swing. XCMG’s published operating weight is 7,700 kg, so the model is often grouped with 7.5- to 8-tonne equipment rather than true mini excavators.

This guide covers three practical questions: what the machine can do, which factory options change the specification, and what a complete quote request should include.

Where the XE75GA fits on site

The XE75GA is built around a 3,720 mm boom and a 1,622 mm arm. With the standard 0.33 m³ bucket, it delivers 57 kN of bucket digging force and 38 kN of arm digging force. Maximum digging depth is 4,020 mm, maximum reach is 6,260 mm, and maximum dumping height is 5,160 mm. Those figures suit trenching, utility work, foundation preparation, landscaping and light demolition.

The tail swing radius is 1,840 mm. On confined urban sites, that figure affects how close the machine can work to walls, fences and traffic lanes. A standard dozer blade adds backfilling and leveling capability, and the 35° gradeability covers typical loading ramps and site slopes.

The XE75GA is not a mass-excavation machine. Its 0.33 m³ bucket and 7,700 kg operating weight place it in a support role on larger projects. Buyers should also check the lifting-capacity chart for the exact boom, arm, bucket and track configuration before planning lifting work, because basic specification tables do not show lift capacity at reach.

The 7,700 kg weight includes a 75 kg operator and 90% fuel, according to the export brochure. That is the correct basis for comparing transport weight and ground pressure with other models. A quoted "7.5-tonne" figure may be a class label, not the actual operating weight.

The engine rating needs a serial-level check

XCMG’s China product page lists the XE75GA at 36 kW at 2,000 rpm. An English export brochure for the same Kubota V2607 engine lists 42.4 kW at 2,000 rpm. The difference is not a typo in this article; it reflects market-specific engine ratings and documentation.

For a buyer, the engine plate, emission certificate and serial-specific datasheet are the reference. The destination market may require a particular emission stage, and the same model name can be supplied with different calibration. A generic web specification is not enough to clear import or to compare two machines. This is also why a quote should state the engine rating and emission documentation, not only the model name. Some used listings also show Yanmar engines and 0.32 m³ buckets under the XE75GA name, so the serial plate deserves a direct check.

Configurations that change the quote

The base machine is usually quoted with a 0.33 m³ bucket, a 3,720 mm boom, a 1,622 mm arm, a dozer blade and 450 mm steel track shoes. XCMG lists an optional bucket range of 0.18–0.35 m³. Bucket choice should follow material density and cycle targets. A larger bucket does not automatically produce more tonnes per hour if it slows the cycle or exceeds the machine’s stability limit.

The option list also includes breaker piping, hydraulic breakers, mechanical or hydraulic quick couplers and rubber track pads. These items change the hydraulic configuration, the delivered price and the lead time. A contractor who plans to run a breaker should confirm that the quotation includes the correct piping, return line and breaker package, not just a base machine with a hammer listed separately.

The cab specification is part of the value case. XCMG lists a 7-inch touchscreen, keyless start, automatic air conditioning and a fresh-air system. Cab protection and certification should be confirmed for the destination market.

How to verify a used XE75GA

For a used unit, the inspection record matters more than the paint. A six-stage check should cover the serial number and hour meter, engine cold start and fault codes, hydraulic pressure and cycle times, undercarriage wear, boom and frame cracks, and a load test of travel, swing, digging and lifting functions.

The hydraulic check should compare main system pressure with the 28.4 MPa specification and look for leaks under load. The undercarriage check should measure track shoe height, link wear, roller and idler play, and sprocket wear. The structural check should look for cracks or repaired welds on the boom, arm and main frame. A 40–60 photo set and a 2–3 minute walkaround video before deposit give the buyer more evidence than a list of adjectives.

SHUNFA’s export process includes this six-stage inspection, third-party SGS inspection on request, and documentation for customs clearance. The company also provides a one-year warranty on three major components. These services do not change the machine’s age or condition, but they make the condition visible before the buyer commits.

Quote request checklist

A complete request should include the model and year, serial number if available, current photos, hour meter reading, engine rating and emission documents, bucket size, attachment list, destination port, preferred Incoterm, required certification and target budget. The reply should state what is included, what is excluded, and which documents will be issued.

The XE75GA is a practical 7.7-tonne compact excavator when the job fits its 4.02 m digging depth and 6.26 m reach. Its price is not a single number. The engine rating for the destination, the attachment package and the condition of the individual unit determine whether a quote represents good value. SHUNFA can include the XE75GA in a used-excavator search and provide the inspection evidence before deposit; the final offer should follow the actual machine, the port and the required configuration.
